The start of LDP Services…
Since 2008 more and more people throughout the UK have battled for jobs, some were lucky enough to secure their positions and others not so lucky. I wasn’t one of those lucky individuals, qualified within the Human Resources and Public Relations fields as well as highly experienced within the political field I found that with the opportunities on offer were few and far between.
On reflection of some political canvassing done during the 2010 General Election and the lack of quality flyer distribution services, LDP Services was born. I wanted to offer a marketing strategy that was cost effective and that worked. Since November 2011 the business has gone from strength to strength. Initially as a home based business with zero capital investment, LDP Services rapidly grew offering leaflet delivery services throughout the Cardiff area.
The growth of the company
In January 2012 LDP Services had three flyer distribution workers, representing clients such as The Royal Mint.
Over the course of the next eighteen months LDP Services continued to grow offering flyer distribution services through South Wales, the company had grown 400% and had gone from being a home based business to having large office and storage premises close to Cardiff City centre. LDP Services currently work with prestigious customers such as Glamorganshire Golf Club, Cineworld Cinemas, Peter Alan estate agents and several health and fitness clubs.
From September 2013 LDP Services will be opening an office in Bristol increasing the company by another 150% from its current size to meet the flyer distribution demand, with the aspiration to open flyer distribution offices in Reading and Birmingham over the next twelve months.
